Thoughts on X: Powers of X #2

Welcome to Thoughts on X: Powers of X #2, the fourth in our series! The previous episode covered House of X #2 and brilliantly rewrote what we thought we knew about X-Men history. I have no idea where Hickman is going from there, but I’m down for the ride! I will again be writing my reactions as I read, as spoiler free as possible, with some thoughts at the end. Overall the Powers books are harder to react to….

Well that was an unexpected appearance. Future X-Men leader?

Well he seems quite mad…

Nimbus….That is a thing I guess…

x^3 is kinda obtuse in what is going on…

Types of Galactic Societies, that’s not an especially nice scale.

So – I really don’t get what is going on in the way future timelines. Is it still on the path set into motion by the revelations of House #2? Is it something completely different? I mean I get what is being asked for, but I don’t know who or exactly why. Not sure if I am just missing something or if it is really that obtuse? I didn’t have this problem with Jason Aaron’s Thor books that went across eras.

I’m still intrigued, but I like Houses better lol.
